The Purpose Project

Hi, I’m Luis, founder of The Purpose Project

I’m a therapist from Liverpool with extensive experience working with young men.
This course was born out of that work and from my own journey as a young man trying to make sense of a world that offered little guidance and even fewer role models.

When I was a teenager, I felt completely lost. I was approaching adulthood, but no one had taught me what it meant to be a man. I didn’t know what I wanted to do with my life, and I didn’t know what was expected of me — only that something was.

I grew up in a single-parent household and often had to “step up,” but no one ever handed me a rulebook. I looked around at other men who seemed to have it all figured out, while I was just trying to keep my head above water.

Today, I see the same struggle, only worse.
Social media has replaced real guidance.
Where I once learned through trial, error, and the occasional mentor, many young men now look online and find only empty promises and poisonous advice. They’re being raised by algorithms and exploited by influencers who prey on their confusion.

These online figures sell lies dressed up as masculinity.
That you must be rich to be worthy.
That aggression and emotional coldness are signs of strength.
That having multiple partners somehow proves your value as a man.

It’s all nonsense.
It’s exploitation.
It’s wrecking the lives and mental health of young men who deserve better.

This course exists to fight back against that noise.
I believe masculinity is something young men can and should explore, not to conform to someone else’s idea, but to understand their values, define their purpose, and become someone others can rely on.

Masculinity, at its best, is about strength through service. It’s about being dependable, honest, and driven the kind of man others trust and look up to. That’s what I want to help you build.

What you see online is not masculinity.
It’s a scam.
Let’s show the difference.
